Day 1: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Your 3-day Tanzania safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or airport in Arusha. After a short briefing, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, a wildlife paradise known for its massive elephant population and impressive baobab trees scattered across the landscape.
Upon arrival, start your game drive through the vast savannah and seasonal swamps. Tarangire is home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, ostriches, and hundreds of bird species. During the dry season, thousands of animals gather around the Tarangire River, making it a perfect spot for wildlife viewing.
Enjoy lunch at a picnic site inside the park, then continue your afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
